Roofer in Deventer
Dakservice Schäfer is your roofer in Deventer. Across the IJssel we handle lead and zinc work, pitched roofs and chimney renovations in Deventer, with an eye for what's already there.
Deventer is a Hanseatic city with a centre full of older and listed buildings. No standard solution fits roofs like those: gutters, valleys and connections are rarely straight and never quite the same twice. So we make the lead and zinc work on site, to size, letting the detail adapt to the building rather than the other way round.
Outside the centre, Deventer looks very different. In districts such as Colmschate, Keizerslanden and Borgele we mostly work on post-war roofs due for replacement or insulation, and on the flat roofs of extensions, garages and sheds.
Working in a city centre calls for coordination: about the scaffolding, about access to the street and about the neighbours. We arrange that in advance and leave the site tidy at the end of every day. As far as we're concerned, that's simply part of the job.

Frequently asked questions about roofing work in Deventer
Do you work on listed buildings in Deventer?
We handle the roofing, lead and zinc work on them. Because we make everything to size on site, we can match the existing details of the building.
Do you come all the way from Apeldoorn to Deventer?
Deventer is around half an hour's drive and falls fully within our service area. We'll drive over for an inspection too.
Can you put up scaffolding in the city centre?
Yes. We agree the placement in advance and take account of access to the street and of the neighbours.
